Beneath The Clouds

I painted this farm after driving along New Carlisle Pike just after a storm, when the clouds were still hanging low and this barn and its silos stood out sharply against the sky. The way it emerged under the clearing light made it a scene I knew I wanted to capture it in watercolor.
