Christiansburg General Store — Watercolor Print

I painted the Christiansburg General Store for Christiansburg’s bicentennial because it’s a place tied directly to my own history. My aunt and uncle once owned the store, and I remember stopping in for penny candy, so the building has always been part of how I think of the town. For the bicentennial, I wanted to show it as it looked in those years—its structure, its corner, and the role it has played in the center of Christiansburg.
