The streets of New York have an energy that’s impossible to ignore — a rhythm of color, movement, and light that feels alive. I chose vibrant hues and the iconic yellow taxis because they capture the pulse of the city, especially in those fleeting moments when reflections shimmer across wet pavement. Painting this scene was my way of exploring that electric atmosphere and translating it into watercolor, where looseness, light, and emotion can all meet on the page.
